Heard about Make A Difference Foundation Charity (MAD?) I attended the Glamouraid charity ball the other day and MAD was one of the beneficiaries. They’re a non-profit organisation founded by rugby star Francois Pienaar and aims to give gifted underprivileged scholars a better education.
Since 2010, Estee Lauder’s worked together with MAD via their Foundation for the Nation (FFTN) programme. It sees R10 of every foundation sold in certain months donated to the charity. As September is one of those months, you’ve still got a few days left to snap up your favourite Estee Lauder foundation and know that a portion of it’s sale will go to MAD.
Yesterday, I attended a Lauder FFTN press function and watched the group hand over a giant check for R1 000 000 (yep, that’s six zeros) to Ryk Neethling who was there to accept it on behalf of MAD.
So, if you’re in need of a new foundation and you’re a Lauder fan, this is a good month to buy it. Other FFTN months are February, April and July.
Now tell me, are you Lauder foundation fan? I quite enjoy using Double Wear Light on days when I need a little more coverage and want something that really goes the distance.
