A beautiful butterfly collection from Green Grass design

Last year, the most gorgeous Christmas card I received by far was a paper ‘butterfly collection’ by Green Grass Design from Eye Candy’s Freda Isingoma. (Eye Candy, for those who don’t know, is a fab chain of eye and brow bars. I like to pop into the shop on Kloof Street to have my brows tinted and sometimes get the occassional thread.)

But ja… back to the butterflies…

Opening the envelope reveals a laser cut card, three beautiful paper butterflies, three pearly-headed pins and a trio of ‘glue dots’.

Come my lady, come, come my lady, you're my butterflies, sugar, baby!

You’re to stick the dots onto any surface (they’re not tacky enough to rip off wallpaper or anything; don’t worry) and stick the pins into them, effectively pinning your butterflies to the wall.

I dropped one of my pins and it rolled under my bed so I had to get creative with just two pins.
I dropped one of my three pins and it rolled somewhere under my bed so I had to get creative with just two of them.

I know it’s kind of random but I think it’s so pretty and novel I thought it deserved a mention.

Thanks Freda!

Love, love

Leigh

P.S. Jozi girls, just so you know, Eye Candy’s brow and lash bar in Woolies Sandton is now open seven days a week!
