Elizabeth Arden’s just launched a social responsibility campaign called Make a Visible Difference. Essentially, they’re on a quest to find a South African who’s making a significant contribution to the betterment of our country.
If this is you, and you’re at least 21 years of age, send them a 500 word essay explaining what it is you do and you could be selected as one of four ‘Community Heroes’. Your prize? A R65K package that includes R40K to donate to a designated BEE certified non-profit charity of your choice, be it your own or someone else’s. But to be clear, you don’t have to have your own NGO or anything like that to enter. You simply have to be doing good and making a difference. If you’re then selected as the grand winner, you’ll receive a further R40K to further your education.

To celebrate the campaign kick-off, Arden sent me a bunch of flowers and ask that I hand the blooms out to friends to help ‘make a difference’ to their day and take a snap shot. As I had a dinner with one of my blogger besties, (Relax with) Dax, that eve, he got to be my flower boy.

Anyway, if you’re a lazy, selfish cow like me or haven’t had the time to start up a soup kitchen, you can still give back with Elizabeth Arden. Up until the end of June, R4 from the sale of every full size Visible Difference product will go to Arden’s Community Heroes causes.

Personally, I’d buy my items from Edgars or Red Square. They’re currently running a promo where, if you buy any two Arden products, one being a moisturiser OR foundation, you’ll score a 7 piece gift consisting of the following:
- A leopard print Bag
- Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser (50ml)
- Ceramide Lift & Firm Day Cream SPF30 (15ml)
- Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum, 7pcs (3.2ml)
- Eight Hour Nourishing Lip Balm SPF 20 (5ml)
- Beautiful Color Lash Enhancing Mascara in Black (3ml)
- Untold EDT (5ml)
Love, love
