GOSH Cosmetics is now available at Foschini and I’ve got a spoilicious hamper you could win

Fabulously affordable yet top quality and cruelty-free Danish beauty brand GOSH Cosmetics is now available at selected Foschini stores as well as online at Foschini For Beauty.

To celebrate GOSH’s big move into the world of Fosch, I was sent a few goodies from their lovely new Nordic Magic collection which is all about colour-correcting and playing with light. There are some serious gems in the bunch and I’m only too happy to show them off so la oss komme i gang! (That’s ‘let’s get started’ in Norwegian, just so you know. Thanks google translate!)

First up, if you’re looking at the Colour Corrector Kit (R195), Primer Plus Skin Adapter in Chameleon (R255) and Prime’n Set Banana Powder (R235).

Hello lovelies!

The Colour Corrector Kit is great because the shades have a nice viscosity so they ‘cover’ but are super blendable. I used the yellow shade under my eyes (I’ll show you a pic in a bit) and liked that, once it had done it’s work neutalising, it played nicely with the concealer I layered on top of it.

As for the Primer Plus Skin Adapter, I think it’s a good pick for anyone with a darker skin tone because it’s got a bit of tint to it. I’ve tried primers in the past that have left my skin with a white cast which isn’t great but that’s a look that’s even worse for someone darker than me. Thanks to the tint, you don’t have to worry about turning ash. It’s got skincare benefits too – antioxidants and a marine complex to protect your skin from pollution.

Once the colour pearls burst it gets a tint that blends out in a way that’s nice and sheer.

If you’ve watched Kim Kardashian’s make-up tutorials you’ll know she’s big into banana powder, essentially a yellow-tinted powder to set make-up. So, what’s the big difference between banana and translucent powder? Well, nothing really aside from the colour but it’s the redness-neutralising yellow that makes all the difference. It also does a beautiful job, I think, of creating a ‘brighter’ look than something translucent.

More to love? The 9 Shades Shadow Collection in …to party in London. (R280).

Being part of the Nordic Magic collection you’d think it would be ‘…to party in Oslo’!

But hey, who am I to judge, especially when GOSH’s shadows are so freakin’ fabulous? Each shade is a super duper pigmented, fabulously buttery one stroke wonder!

Ba-boom!

..

Yes please!

I blended the two bronzier, warmer shades to create this look below which I think is nice and easy for day.

I’m also wearing is GOSH’s My Favourite Mascara (R165) which creates a subtle, defined lashline and GOSH Brow Shape & Fill in Gray Brown (R140), a nice taupe for cool-toned blondes.

I’ve also enjoyed using the Strobe’n Glow Kit highlighter wheel (R285), particularly palest shade on the top left hand quarter.

See those Lumi Drops in the background? I’ll be doing something cool with those soon. Keep an eye out.

Again, GOSH’s ultra blendable powder’s serve to impress!

The two pale gold shades are quite similar but one is slightly warmer.

You could easily swirl your make-up brush around the entire wheel to create a golden shimmer, but for me I’m all about the moonbeam!

Getting my glow on!

So, what’s on my skin? GOSH Primer Plus in Chameleon, a little BB cream, the GOSH colour corrector in yellow under my eyes paired with concealer, the palest shade from the GOSH highlighting wheel, a bit of pale pink blush and the GOSH banana powder used all over to set.

You’ll see I put the highlighter on the apples of my cheeks and then bring it up to create a C-shape towards my temples but don’t get it too close to the sides of my eyes or it will emphasise my lines.

Now for the part I know you’re waiting for! Who wants to win a GOSH Cosmetics hamper for themselves? You can enter to win it via the comments section below telling me what product you’re most interested in trying yourself.

You can also enter via my Instagram and Facebook page so be sure to stop on by! (If the comp isn’t up yet just give me ten minutes. Must make coffee!)

This competition is open to South African residents only and a winner will be drawn at 5pm on 3 November 2017.

Love, love

Leigh
