Dermalogica’s launched Nightly Lip Treatment and it’s lovely stuff. I usually put lip balm on before bed, especially in winter, to stop my lips from drying out in the night but have substituted that for Dermalogica’s newbie. While it’s called Nightly Lip Treatment it’s actually meant to be used around your entire mouth area to help blitz feather lines and smile lines.

Aside from hydrating via Shea butter, hyaluronic acid and sesame seed oil, Nightly Lip Treatment also plumps up your skin with a relatively new ingredient with a name so long I have no choice but to cut and paste – ‘Hydroxymethoxyphenyl Propylmethylmethoxybenzofuran’. (Try say that three times real fast!)
HP (that’s what I’m calling it now), which also has good antioxidant properties, serves up a plumping effect that is cumulative but temporary so be sure to include a collagen-encouraging product, something like a retinol serum, in your nightly routine if you want to play a long game when it comes to preventing premature ageing.
I like that it’s gel-cream texture absorbs super fast, it’s subtle spearmint scent is nice and clean-smelling and, when I wake up, the fine marionette lines around my mouth are most definitely diminished.
Love, love

Nice review, Leigh. Trust Dermalogica to come up with another great product.
This sounds dreamy – my skin just doesn’t agree with any Dermalogica products, even the Ultra Calming range. Such a pity!
