Zando sent me a pair of zexy Utopia heels and a City Goddess London rokkie and I love, love, love them!

I live and die at launch events so my cocktailwear collection is a big one, but even so, I still run out of things to wear. So, imagine how thrilled I was when Zando kindly sent me a sexy pair of Utopia peep toe heels…

Gorgeous, right?
Gorgeous, right?

…even better, it came with a beautiful City Goddess London rok!

I promised Zando I’d take a piccie to show it off but told them they’d have to wait a bit as I’d just moved house and – shock horror! – my new apartment didn’t feature a full length mirror. I know, right? People be living like animals, I tell you. Animals!

So, what did Zando do? They sent me a blerrie mirror the very next day!

Mirror, mirror on the wall...
Mirror, mirror on the wall…

Let’s get a full length shot shall we?

Did I mention the shoes are super comfy?

The beautifully bevelled mirror (R1999) is part of Zando’s new NovelOnline collection that you’ll find in their homewear department. They do great frames, mirrors, wall art and the odd ‘ornament’ like silver jewellery and trinket boxes.

Anyway, this is a big dankie to the online store without whom my fab Friday night look wouldn’t have been possible. (Also, a massive ta to all the running I’ve been doing or I wouldn’t have been able to fit into the dress!)

As far as my make-up goes, I used all my own items but have been surprised to learn how many of them can be found on Zando. Their drugstore make-up selection is pretty big! Below are some of the goodies I used to doll myself up. I didn’t just scroll through the site and pick out random items that matched. I literally have each of these items in my possession and adore all of them.

L’Oreal Nutri Lift Gold foundation R235, Revlon powder blush in Bronzilla R185, L’Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Max lip colour in Red My Lips R195, Revlon ColorStay liquid liner R165 and Essie nail polish in Jump in my Jumpsuit, R125, all Zando.co.za.

As far as I’m concerned, L’Oreal’s Nutri Lift Gold is one of the best foundations you can find in the drug store. Seriosuly. You can read my gushy review over here. You’ll also find my L’Oreal Matte Max lip colour review here and love for Essie’s Jump in my Jumpsuit here. The latter is one of the best creamy-looking blue-toned red polishes your money can buy.

I haven’t written a review on Revlon’s Bronzilla as it’s not a new product but trust me when I tell you it’s a total gem. I love that it’s got a satin finish as opposed to a shimmery one and, despite looking a bit dark in the pan, it really flatters my pale, cool-toned skin and, best of all, it never, ever looks orange!

Love, love

Leigh

    1. Thank you! I’ve been running every day which was initially torture but now that I can fit back into most of my old jeans it’s suddenly become a whole lot less hideous ;-P
