A few weeks ago I found a huuuge back of beauty samples my sis was hoarding in her bathroom and told her I’d stop loving her if she didn’t give them to me.
Most of the samples are nice, fat generous ones from brands I couldn’t usually afford, but ironically, the best product I’ve found in the bunch comes from dear old Rimmel; their Renew & Lift foundation to be precise.
Rimmel Renew & LIft foundation, no clue as to price, but being Rimmel, he's not likely to be a wallet-crusher...I’m currently using up the dregs of a mini sachet in 201 Classic Beige. It’s definitely one of the nicest ‘drug store’ foundations I’ve used in ages and I may well buy a full size bottle in future. It rambles on about containing peptides that help lift your face in just 12 days. I don’t know so much about that, but I can tell you that it gives nice sheer to medium coverage and leaves my skin with a dewy, fresh-looking ‘glow’ that doesn’t devolve into ‘oily trainwreck’ as the day wears on. I like to wear it with a bit of my beloved MAC Blot powder on my T-section (which I reapply throughout the day).
So ja, if you’re in the market for a new ‘ace of base’ to take a look at this guy. He’s rad.

thanks for the tip! went out and purchased this to give it a try and it really is a goodie. one of the better ‘drug store’ ones that i’ve tried. was looking for something that i could wear every day as my usual Dior foundation is pricey! Go Rimmel!

It’s nice, hey? I like how it give a little coverage and leaves my skin looking healthy and glowing. Not exactly ‘dewy’, but just about. 🙂
