Physician’s Formula cosmetics now available at Dischem

Hit up Canal Walk over the weekend with some gift vouchers to burn, but gotta say I struggled to find stuff. Does anyone else find this winter’s fashion offering kinda boring?

Anyway, I was thrilled to discover that the mall’s HUGE new and improved Dis-Chem now stocks a big range of Physician’s Formula cosmetics. It’s an American drug store brand that specialises in hypoallergenic cosmetics for those with sensitive skin. I like that they’ve got a nice selection of fabulous mineral-based pressed powders and lots of options for anyone looking to do a little colour correction.

For example, they’ve got both green and yellow concealers that go a long way towards minimising the appearance of redness as well as multicoloured complexion correcting pressed powders.

Check it out…

Gentle Cover concealer stick in Green.
Mineral Wear Talc-free Corrective pressed powder - a swirl of powder plus pink to brighten, green to neutralise redness and yellow to add warmth.

I also liked their Shimmer Strip eye shadows which reminded me of the palettes Bobbi Brown puts out…

Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing shadow and liner. (This set's from the Smoky Collection and intended for those with 'hazel' eyes. I love that you're getting NINE shades in one pallet!

Price-wise, I didn’t see anything over R160,00, so these guys won’t hurt your wallet. Next time you’re near a Dis-Chem, go check it out. Just bare in mind that they don’t stock everything you’ll see on the website.
