Allure magazine makes my day

If you’re a serious beauty slet like me, chances are you’ll know and love Allure, the world’s best beauty mag. I’ve been a subscriber for a few years now and nothing makes my day like getting home to find the latest issue peeking out of my post box.

The March issue just arrived today.

Oh look, Miss B is almost smiling...

Just spent the last hour curled up in bed with it (and a big ass bag of mini speckled eggs) and can now share the following:

Covergirl Victoria Beckham loves Chanel Gardenia, wears Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Luminous body lotion when she rocks a dress at night and runs four miles a day on the treadmill.

Chanel Gardenia - all you need to smell like Posh Spice

In a year or two, we’ll be able to use something called Revance, a type of Botox that gets wiped onto crow’s feet and carried into your skin via a chemical peptide.

In the states, Clinique have launched this cute li’l mini mascara that’s meant to be used on your lower lashes only.

Cheri Botiz, beauty and fragrance director at Nordstroms, reckons Chanel nail colour in Mimosa, a pretty true yellow, is going to be huge.

If you want to get your mitts on the mag, I suggest you subscribe via there website. I used my credit card to pay and it was as easy as pie. Currently, 12 issues delivered to your door will set you back $40. That’s 276 South African rand, making it a mere 23 bucks per issue!

If you’re half as beauty-crazed as I am, it’ll be the best money you’ve spent all year. Promise.
