Christmas came early to The Body Shop

Can you believe all the shops have their Christmas goodies out? I can’t tell you how weird it feels, walking around Woolies and looking at all the ‘Magical Christmas’ window displays. Just the other day I was staring at them on my art director’s MAC, wracking my brain to think of one more line that expressed ‘the magic of Christmas’ – and now they’re up and running!

(Just in case you haven’t read my About Me section, you should know I work full time as a copywriter for an ad agency on the Woolworths account. I spend a lot of time writing things like ‘Kids 3-pack school shirts, now R59,99’  and ‘Eat in for under R100!’)

Anyway, I see The Body Shop’s Christmas collection has hit the shelves.

As usual, it consists of three yummy limited edition ‘scents’ – Cranberry Joy, Jolly Orange and Spiced Vanilla. Somehow, I thought Jolly Orange would be the most boring of the bunch, but it’s actually my favourite – an aromatic citrus with just a hint of spice. I also like that the body butter isn’t as heavy-feeling as the others. Great for an ‘African Christmas’.

Festive Body Butter Trio, R160,00. Very merry indeed.

The range also features a nicely priced hand cream for a mere fifity buckaroos. Now tell me, which of the three varients would you like to find stuffed in your stocking? 😉

  1. Thanks cooks!

Nope, I had to pass that facial on to Kele at Women24 when I left. But I’m using the Deep Cleansing facial wash and Freshening Tonic samples that we got at the launch – they last forever! Must say, I really like the face wash – it takes off all my make-up, but because it’s nice and creamy, it doesn’t leave my face feeling dry or tight.
