I’m a massive fan of Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea fragrance. It’s been one of my go-to summer scents for years and I love to spritz it on when I want to feel fresh and clean. It’s a real pick-me-up kind of fragrance. So, you can imagine I was super excited when I spotted the new Fuji Green Tea line up from The Body Shop in an airport earlier this year. I was rushing through so I didn’t have time to really play everything but I did get to sniff the Bath Tea, essentially a tin of bath salts, and won’t forget how it immediately zapped me out of my blurry sleeping tablet-induced haze, kind of like the nicest version of smelling salts, I guess.

Anyway, since then, I’ve been dying for the range to hit SA shores and it’s finally about to touch down on the 6th of this month.
It makes use of antioxidant-rich green tea handpicked from the Mount Fuji area of Japan and the fragrance’s notes, aside from green tea, include uplifting bergamot, lemon, mandarin and soothing camellia, jasmine and violet.

I can’t wait to sniff the cologne (yep, they’re calling it a cologne, not an EDT) so I can truly judge how it compares to Arden’s and might end up buying The Body Sorbet and exfoliating soap (R80) In the meantime, I was given those gorgeous Bath Tea salts and I love, love, love them. All you need to do is toss a handful in the tub and BOOM, you’ve created a li’l spa bath that’s both relaxing and invigorating at the same time. You don’t have to own the infuser (R115). It exists to catch the leaves and, as I’m a big LUSH girl, I’m quite happy with bits in my bath.
See anything you’re keen to try?
Love, love
