It’s time for another fashion haul from Edgars. This month, I found some of the cutest items, again in their Free2BU section, and spent a little bit more than R1000 gift card store was kind enough to give me. Still, in regards to value, I totally got my money’s worth as the pieces I picked out are seriously versatile.
For example, let’s take a look at how we can dress up and then casual back down with this pleather skirt (R279,99) and printed long sleeve top (R199,95).

Creating the fun yet office friendly look you see on the left is as simple as adding leggings, boots and a nice piece of bling. The blerrie angle makes it look like I don’t have a waist, but trust me, the top and skirt are super flattering provided you tuck the shirt in. (As the skirt’s A-line, it flares out a little, and high-waisted, so you need something clingy on top to create a feminine silhouette.)
For a look that’s a bit for ‘cas’, I lost the necklace and added the faded denim and check shirt (R349,95) which I love, love, love. It’s sleeves are made from chiffon so you don’t feel bulky and aren’t going to get too hot.

Now, let’s dress up a little more, shall we? What would a shopping spree be without my favourite print in the whole wide world? Yep, you guessed it, leopard!

Worn with a grey snood and boots, it’s also totally office friendly. However, if you lose the snood and boots and add a big, blingy statement necklace and black patent leather heels and you’re ready for cocktails with the girls. (I actually had a shot of this but it came out super blurry. Oops!)
See anything you like? It’s all sitting in store right now just waiting to be snapped up and, if you hurry, you can score 50% selected boots, jackets, knitwear and fleece tops until 1 July.
Love, love
Leigh
P.S. Next month, in July, I’ll be creating one last shopping spree post and giving away a R1000 Edgars voucher to one lucky reader. So keep an eye out, okay?
P.S.S. A big thank you to my darling Tam who’s knocked up and super moeg but was still willing to take yet another set of piccies for me. Love you biets!
Gosh that leopard print rokkie is stunning. Sucks to be “fun-employed” at the moment.. 😦
