Sanctum is a lovely 100% natural skin care range that uses organic ingredients wherever possible as well as totally recyclable packaging. It hails all the way from Oz and is inspired by the ‘sea and hinterland surrounding Byron Bay, Australia’.
I actually reviewed their body balm the other day but today I’m chatting about this guy:

Essentially, if you’ve got dry or mature skin, this is a great night time hydrator. It’s not going to do much in terms of wrinkle-busting but doesn’t claim to; its only aim is to protect your skin’s moisture balance while you’re in dreamland.
Formulation-wise, it’s made using all natural, vegan-friendly ingredients, 84% of which are certified organic. Aside from making use of great natural hydrators, things like jojoba seed oil, Shea butter and water-binding hyaluronic acid (yes, that’s a natural ingredient too!), it also contains skin soothing aloe vera and chamomile extract.
What I liked about this cream was the fact that, even though I don’t have a dry skin type, I could easily use it myself. It feels nice and ‘fluffy’ in the jar and melted into my skin without making it feel oily in the least. It’s also got a soft, pretty scent thanks to the addition of a few drops of fragrant aromatherapy oils like pachouli, ylang ylang, vanilla and rose.
