Ponds adds to its Flawless Radiance range with new UV cream

Sikkeling with dark spots? Ponds’ Flawless Radiance collection promises to help lighten them up thanks to a vitamin B3/niacinamide complex. (Interestingly, vitamin B3 can also help treat acne ‘cos it’s a good anti-inflammatory… )

Anyhoo, I haven’t tried the Flawless Radiance range, so I can’t tell you whether it works or not, but I do know that it’s flying off the shelves. Are you a fan? If so, you’ll be glad to hear Ponds has just introduced another product to the collection; Ponds Flawless Radiance Blemish Prevention UV Cream SPF15, R89,99.

Ponds' newest blemish buster

It also contains vitamin B3, so now you can treat existing spots while preventing the formation of others. Just so you know…

  1. Hi Lilian, I have been using pond’s perfect colour complex range & i have moved to pond’s lasting oil control range but nothing really works for my oily and blemish skin. I also want to try the new ponds flawless radiance cream that has spf15 but im not sure if it will suit my skin type as i have OILY SKIN? . Please share with us if this new range works for oily skin as i prefer not to skip to other skin products! Thanks

      1. Ja, I haven’t tried this myself so I can’t back up its efficacy. I reckon your best bet in regards to pigmentation would be laser or hydroquinone. I’m not sure if you can get hydroquinone locally so I resorted to eBay to buy an AMBI evening cream. It did work, but the spots have come back. Sigh… For more info on skin lightening check out this article from SHAPE, it’s quite informative: http://www.shapemag.co.za/lifestyle/brighten-up/

  2. i bought a complete range of plawless radiance pond’s products and it left me with serious acne and rash. please explain because i definitely didn’t get value for my money let alone the promised radiance

    1. Hi Alzy. Obviously there’s something in one or all of the products that you’re sensitive too and it could be anything; from the fragrance to the preservative. That kind of reaction’s unusual (most women are just fine with it) but it does happen. I reckon you should try get hold of Ponds themselves and complain to them but they’re not likely to reimburse you. Sorry man!

  4. OMG!!! I suffered from severe acne in my teen years, which left me with very dark unsightly marks. Tried almost every products in the market, and spent thousands of rands on dermatologists and beauty therapists. Even had chemical peel (ethnic skin BTW), which left my skin even darker. Anyhooo…I happened to speak to a lady promoting Pond’s competitor product, and she recommended Ponds flawless serum ( I bet she knows something we don’t). I’ve been using it for about a month now, together with the anti mark cream, and I’m starting to see a remarkable difference…Thank you thank you 🙂
