OMG girls!

Yesterday, I attended a Johnson & Johnson launch and was told that they’re discontinuing RoC skincare in South Africa! Can you believe it?! Apparently the brand, which has a bit of an apothecary, ‘results based in science’ type of feel has struggled to compete with ‘glossier’ department store options. It would seem that SA women want pretty jars to sit on their dressing table as opposed to a product that seriously delivers. (Stomp… hiss… rage…)

RoC Retinol Corrextion Deep Wrinkle night cream is one of my favourite products and I’ve used it for yonks. And I’m not alone… its won more of Allure magazine’s Best of Beauty awards than I have fingers and flies off the shelves in Europe and the States.

Dunno about you, but I’m off to do a run of all the Dis-Chems in the Western Cape so as to snap up every last tube. And once that’s used up I’m going to have to resort to buying it on eBay.

Sigh…
