A closer look (with swatches) at MAC’s Kelly & Sharon Osbourne collections

I’m not sure why, but I wasn’t expecting a lot from Sharon & Kelly’s recent collaboration with MAC. While both of women are fascinating, I don’t equate either of them with ‘aspirational glamour’. So, I guess you could say short sighted l’l ole me was super surprised by just how fabulously lustable their collections are – Sharon’s is super wearable and Kelly’s hits all the right notes in regards to being on trend.

Kelly's stuff is packaged in lilac and Sharon's is red. Clearly, the inspiration was drawn from their hair.

I was given two items from the collection and love them both – one of Kelly’s lipstick in Kelly Yum Yum and a Sharon lipglass in Bijoux.

Kelly’s lippie is kind of like a second take on MAC’s bestselling Candy Yum Yum but instead of being matte it’s got more a satin finish and is slightly darker and a bit more fuchsia whereas Candy Yum Yum is more on the mauve side of things. Personally, I think Kelly’s colour’s a bit more flattering. I found an awesome comparison piccie over here.

Sharon’s gloss reminds me a helluva lot of another MAC one – their lip-plumping Plushglass in Ample Pink. This is a good thing as I luuuurve Ample Pink. It’s one of the few ‘nude’ lip colours I’ve ever found that has just enough ‘pink’ in it to not wash me out. Love that!

Currently, the collection is sitting on MAC counters as well as available online and selling out fast as I type. In short, if there’s anything you want for your make-up bag, you’d better hardloop.

Love, love

Leigh
