I have a good friend (hoezit Chelle!) who works as a buyer for The Foschini Group and I kind of hate her a little. She gets a ridiculous discount off all their stuff, something crazy like 33%. Maybe 40%. I’m not sure. But either way I’m as jealous as all hell. I mean – hello – The Foschini Group is huuuuge! Think Luella, @home, Charles and Keith, exact!, Fashion Express, American Swiss… I could go on. Oh! And there’s that new accessories store, Mat & May.
Anyway, The Foschini Group now have an all encompassing gift card that can be used at any of their stores. In a way, it’s the perfect gift for any super fussy girlfriends, the kind you hate buying for ‘cos they’re so darn difficult. This way they’ll be spoiled for choice and aren’t limited to a particular mall.
To celebrate the launch, the Foschini PR peeps sent me an interesting little press pack containing a game of Twister.
Naturally, I didn’t waste any time in rounding up Boy Flatmate and my darling Tatum for a super fun game in our lounge.
Okay, okay, that’s a total lie. We just posed for a shot sommer and then got dronk and binge ate lasagna. But still, it’s a cool concept. And they totally bought my love with a R500 gift card. Score!

Can you believe that coat’s from fashion-freakin’-express? Dying to get a look at it up close but so far it’s pretty much exactly what I’ve spent months looking for. Here’s hoping it’s a goodie.

I luuuurve this coat. Going to get it this weekend. I managed to get the best jeans ever at Fashion Express. I struggle with jeans. Waist fits but the leg too short so I look like an orphan, leg long enough but the waist can fit another person…. then I found perfect jeans at Fashion Express!! Whoop Whoop – there goes my Foschini Card!!!
That coat looks so good. Please let us know if it looks as good “In real Life”. Often Mr P looks good in the magazine, but it fails to deliver if you see it up close.

Just a heads up, I’ve bought a coat from Fashion Express before and the quality was terrible. It picked up dust really quickly and I spent more money having it dry cleaned. I hope it’s not the case with this one though, good luck Leigh!
