Maybelline ColorShow nail polishes hit the shelves

Maybelline ColorShow is a new line of nail colours available in 30 fashion-forward chip-resistant shades.

The model’s wearing Fuchsia Fever, just so you know.

I was sent three of them to try and was impressed with how nice and shiny they looked, even without a top coat. Just bear in mind that some shades are more pigmented than others so the amount of coats you need to get it looking good will depend on the colour you choose.

That hot pink on the left in the middle looks good to me.

Still, even with a top coat, they ended up chipping at the tips after two days but I’m not going to moan too loudly, what with all the typing I do. And besides, if you take into consideration that they’re only R39,95 (which is roughly the same price as the Woolies lasagne I just ate), you can totally let that slide.

This is me wearing three coats of Power Red. Zexy ne?

Next time I’m in store, if I spot a shade that floats my boat, I’d be happy to pop it in my trolley.

Love, love

Leigh

    1. Why thank you! It’s cheap crap from Lovisa. I call it my anti-rapist ring. If anyone gives me shit in a car park I’ll smash it into their face BA Baracas-style and it’ll be game over.

  1. Probeer rubylicious! My vel is (baie) lig en ek dink dit staan baie mooi uit. Saam met sally hansen se clear cutex werk dit beter
