Turning 30 is weird, but satisfying. Turning 31, however, is kak. There’s no landmarky-ness attached to it; you just feel… old. Or at least that’s how I felt when I hit the big ‘three one’ on Monday. It was a particularly hard day in that I ended up working for OVER FIVE HOURS on a shoot that was supposed to take a mere two.
Thus, I felt justified in a little ‘messiness’ later on…
Alas, the next day, I thought my head was going to explode so I spent most of the morning feeling paralytic in bed, fucked on a merry mix of painkillers and Rehidrat. The only thing that brightened up my day? Getting a special delivery from my little sis in France. Aside from a huge bunch of flowers, I also received thils li’l box o’ evil:
Still, I couldn’t figure out why the chica from the gift company had been so *giggly* when she’d called to confirm I was going to be home. But then I saw the card:
