The May 2011 issue of MarieClaire has just hit the shelves and contains the list of winners of their Prix d’Excellence de la Beaute awards. (For those of you who don’t know, this is kinda like the SA version of Allure’s Best of Beauty awards.)

This year’s big winners include Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector, Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus and UV Damage Corrector and Chanel Rouge Coco lipstick in Mademoiselle.

Chanel’s new ultra-indulgent, creamy-textured lippie offers long-lasting colour while keeping your lips beautifully hydrated. Mademoiselle is a red shade developed to flatter all skin tones.

The big local winner? The optiPhi range, a new cosmeceutical line designed to help turn back the hands of time and help repair the ravages of sun damage.
