Finally got to get up close and personal with Inglot Cosmetics at Canal Walk on Saturday. My make-up artist friend Tam has been banging on about the brand’s awesomeness for yonks, but now I finally understand her hysteria in technicolor.
I mean, just LOOK at their smorgasbord of lippie alone and nail polish alone. Can you handle it?

I was lucky enough to meet Ronnie, the owner, who gave me the low down. (He and his wife own La Senza and Accessorize in SA).
How it all works is that you can buy any item separately. However, I’d recommend you opt for a fancy magnetic palette and pop your choice of make-up into it. Think eye shadow, brow wax, powder, concealer, cream lippies… Your options are endless. Also, you don’t have to go for JUST shadows, or JUST blushers… feel free to mix it up to your heart’s content. The best bit? If you fill your palette, it’s FREE!
Look at all the palette combo’s you can pick from:
The sheer choice of colour is crazy. Here is just SOME of the eye shadow you can pick from. At just 59 bucks for a round shadow and 69 for a square one, it’s a total steal!
They also have exciting innovative products, like ‘breathable’ nail colours, corrective illuminators and fabulous false eye lashes.
A lovely sales assistant, Alicia, showed me something called Duraline, R99,00. Just put a drop of it into any one of their zillion pigments and BAM, you’ve got a liquid liner. Mix it up with their gel eyeliner and it gives you coloured mascara!

Was so overwhelmed by the sheer rainbow madness, that I didn’t buy a thing, but I already know that arrival of Inglot is going to make a nice, well-spent dent in my wallet. Can’t wait to go back on a nice quiet day and test, fiddle and play…
Get in there girls, you’ll LOVE IT!
xx
