Rimmel have launched yet another mascara; Lash Accelerator Endless mascara, R99,95.

This new boy promises to lengthen and strengthen your lashes with teensy li’l microfibers plus a special formula that contains something Rimmel call Grow Lash Complex. Essentially, it’s a mix of hair strengthening keratin, antioxidants and Procapil. I did a bit of research on Procapil online and the best bit of info I found was over here. In a nutshell, it looks like it could help if you suffer from a certain type of hair loss, but the jury’s out on whether it’ll make healthy lashes grow long. And besides, you’d have to get it all along the roots of your lashes and this is tricky with a mascara as opposed to a serum you can brush along your lash line.

Still, all that aside, this mascara does make your lashes look longer thanks to the fibres. Also, if you’re into definition, you’re going to be a fan as the thin comb-like wand separates each and every lash.

While it’s not a winner in the volumising department, it’s fab for length and definition and sitting on the shelves as I type.
