Listen up Crabtree & Evelyn lovers; the brand’s just launched a fresh new variant called Tarocco Orange, Eucalyptus & Sage.

The new fragrance was inspired by the European citrus colognes used to scent your body from top to toe as well as your home. Crabtree describe their new scent, a herbaceous zesty blend, with words like ‘clean’, ‘invigorating’, ‘bright’, ‘herbaceous’ and ‘sparkling’.

I’ve been using the body lotion which I love, love, love. It feels a bit cool going on (is that the Eucalyptus at work?), sinks into skin in a flash and when I sniff my arm I smell fresh, juicy oranges blended with something herbaceous and green-smelling.

Crabtree have been trying to sex up their image and inject a bit of youth into their brand without losing their olde worlde appeal and just one sniff of this boy and you’ll realise they’re on the right track. As far as I’m concerned, Tarocco Orange is young, clean, fresh and easy to wear and, in a way, something about it reminds me of two of my favourite Holy Grail products; Clarins Eau Dynamisante Invigorating fragrance and grapefruit-scent Biotherm Anti-drying body milk.
