Are you going to the 5 for Change charity ball? (2013)

Screw the 5 Gum Experience. I mean, who wants to have to shuffle around with a bunch of scruffy underage kids and wait hours for a bus to remove you from their über cool ‘mystery location’? I’m sorry but that doesn’t sound like fun to me. The only party I’m looking forward to with the word 5 in its title is the 5 for Change charity ball.

5 for Change
Say no to grungy hipster crap. Embrace glamour. Hit up 5 for Change.

5 for Change is an annual black tie charity ball that aims to raise funds for 5 good causes, namely Waves for Change, Iyeza Express, See-Saw-Do, Trashback and Ilizwe Photography Club. To read more about it clicky clicky over here.

I attended last year’s bash and had a total blast. Think champers, canapes, ice cream cones and cute model boys in tuxes. Even Hollywood actress Kristiana Loken was in the crowd and guests got to enjoy a rocking performance by Ice Cream & The Chocolate Stix. This year, Goldfish and The Rudimentals are all set to take the stage.

If you want to attend this year’s event, these are the deets you need to know.

Date: 18 May 2013
