Today is International Woman’s Day and it sees the launch of Bobbi Brown’s new cream blush, Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge (R340).

The new Pot Rouge’s colour is called Pretty Powerful Pink and it’s one of those universal shades that’ll suit just about everyone. I like that it’s easy to blend as well as easy to build so you can pick your finish; from sheer to striking.

While you can use it on both your lips and cheeks, I prefer it on the latter. It gives me a very natural looking flush, as though I’d just walked up a flight of stairs carrying my groceries. (Which are currently very heavy thanks to my new addiction; Jive Lite in Mango Tango.)

Anyway, the best bit about Pot Rouge is that every cent of its selling price goes towards organizations that empower women across the globe. In SA, it’ll focus on supporting the women and girls involved in HeartBeat, a charity that cares for orphaned and vulnerable children suffering from the impact of HIV.
