The short version of this post: if you love Arden’s Eight Hour cream but want a more natural alternative, Mama Mio’s Rescue Balm is your baby. You will love it. The end.
The longer version, for those of you wanting to know more, goes like this. One of the co-founders of the brand was a big Eight Hour cream fan but wasn’t fond of the ingredients list. (Eight Hour cream fans, don’t get on your high horse now. The girl didn’t say it was poison. She just wanted wasn’t keen on petrochemicals and parabens, okay?)
After getting stuck in at the lab, the result was Mama Mio’s O Mega Wonderfull Rescue Balm (R359,99 at Wellness Warehouse).

You can pretty much use it for anything. Dry lips, cuticles, elbows, knees, toes, whatevs. It’s choc-ful of omega fatty acids and hydrates like a bomb thanks to nine antioxidant-rich natural oils (think sweet almond, avocado, evening primrose etc) in a beeswax base.
I’ve been running around with it in my handbag and slather it on pretty much everyone.
Me: ‘Oh my God, you have to smell this, it’s divine! It does everything!’ *smear, smear smear*
Hapless random person I’ve encountered: ‘Hey! What the hell are you… oh wow! That does smell good!’

Love, love

Leigh, you should try “See No Scar” from Mamma Mio, works like a bomb for cellulite and any scarring 🙂
Thanks for the tip off!
