Max Factor’s new foundation, Ageless Elixer, (R220, exclusive to Clicks) is one of my new favourite things.

Aside from offering light-weight medium coverage, it contains an SPF 15 ‘serum’ that makes use of various antioxidants like green tea and vitamin E. On top of all this, it also contains optical diffusers to help blur the appearance of fine lines!

What I love about it, however, is it’s texture. It’s a fluid, but has a slightly moussey feel which makes it glide across your skin. Seriously. Blending this baby is a dream. I also like that it’s ‘hydrating’ but doesn’t aggravate my oily T-section.

I think it’s on the shelves right now but I’m not 100-percent sure. If not, keep an eye out because it’s absolutely fabulous. And yes, it’s aimed at a more wrinkle-conscious market but trust me, if this baby was around when I was in high school, you’d have found him in my make-up.

The only downside? The shade selection isn’t all that big and many of the colours have a pink undertone which I despise. Still, Natural 50 is working out for me and in summer I might try Golden 75.
