When I first started doing this, it was only to keep my toes in the beauty biz so I could ultimately land another full-time beauty editing gig. I knew I’d attract an audience (thanks Google!), but never really thought the amount would be anything significant. In fact, there was a time where I thought my only ‘regular’ would be my dad!
Anyhoo, I’m thrilled to bits that my li’l bloggetjie’s doing so well. I promised myself that I’d crack open a bottle of champers the day I got 1000 views in one day and that actually happened just yesterday. In fact, I got a cool 1 234! (How’s that for a ‘perfectly’ weird number?!)
In a lekker coinkydink, I didn’t have to bust open my precious String of Pearls semillon as I spent yesterday at a L’Oreal bash that included a Moet & Chandon champagne tasting. Is that, like, fate or what?
Anyway, this a v sincere thank you to all my regular visitors. I love reading your comments (even the snarky ones!) and getting to interact with you all on twitter. Beauty writing is a passion of mine, but being able to share it in ‘real time’ with so many is, like, beyond fabulous.

I know!
