It’s no secret that I LOVE Strawberrynet

For those who don’t know, it’s a HUGE online discount beauty store that stocks just about every brand you can think of and ships pretty much everywhere in the world. Back in the day they used to ship everything for free (yes, really), but they now charge to mail perfume. Still, the cost is ridiculously inexpensive… like R27, I think.

Anyway, I’ve been buying from them for years. I used to opt for unregistered shipping even though this meant you couldn’t trace your order and were kinda stuffed if it got lost as this helped my goodies slide past the tax man. Now, however, they’re force you to choose registered shipping, but here’s the good news; I now see that should you get klapped by SARS, you can send them the slip and they’ll reimburse you for any tax you had to pay. Insane, right? They really don’t have to do this, but are doing so as an act of good will, God bless ’em…

Last night I snapped up TWO tubes of Stila’s Sun Gel, a cult facial bronzing gel, for just over R100.
It’s shockingly expensive in stores, but because its ‘unboxed’, meaning its being sold without its fancy box, I can get it for piss.
