Just read online that Leighton Meester has been picked as the face for Vera Wang’s new fragrance aimed at the younger set. (It’s due for release sometime late next year). According to Mevrou Wang, Leighton’s ‘beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance’.
This won’t be the first time Wang has bagged a famous face. One-time Jonas Bro girlfriend, Camilla Belle, and Lenny Kravitz’ daughter, Zoe, have both represented her other ‘younger’ scent, Princess.
In real life, Leighton doesn’t actually wear perfume off the shelf and prefers to create her own blend of oils – namely white tea, fig and sandalwood. I know this thanks to this awesome site I found the other day. It lists pretty much every celeb you can think of and reveals their perfume du jour.
