Local online fashion store Indiemode recently whipped up a list of their top ten fashion blogs and I was thrilled to nab the number one spot.

While they said the list was in no particular order, let’s just call a spade a spade here. We all know I’m a freakin’ fashion goddess and they only said that so as not to hurt anyone’s feelings. While my blog is mostly beauty-focused I cover all things glam. I’m also known for making brave fashion choices that are so, like, BEYOND, that sometime’s nobody really ‘gets’ them. Like this hot inmate-inspired jersey I snapped up from Woolies (and promply returned after being lambasted for it on twitter).

On second thought, perhaps Indiemode merely felt sorry for me. But ja, go check out their store when you’ve got the time. They’re all about independent local designers so, in a way, shopping their store is kind of like being able to whirl through a bunch of Long Street boutiques without the risk of being stabbed for your iPhone tik-addled street kids.

I actually just took a quick squizz now and thought this Kiki black dress was rather awesome.

This swallow necklace (R120) is also pretty cool. I reckon it would make a nice gift for a friend.

See? I can make good fashion choices when I’m not buying items without trying them on first or shopping while tripping on launch booze and OTC muscle relaxants. And Indiemode (who offer free shipping) think I’m the bees knees too, so it must be true.
