I love that SA’s slowly but surely getting more onboard with online shopping. I’ve been addicted to it for years as I despise trawling a mall and dealing with (usually kak) shop assistants. Still, my shopping sprees were mostly limited to foreign sites and stores as South Africa wasn’t quite on the digital bandwagon. Now, however, just about every switched on local store is making a move towards online shopping cleverness, most notably Woolies and Mr Price.
Anyway, I just had to share, like, the best online shopping ‘app’ ever; All4Women’s Window Shopper. It lets you check out a HUGE selection of fashion that’s currently in stores right now along with the price. If you spot something you like, you can then pop on over to the store’s online shop or, if it doesn’t have one (boo!) go get it in the actual store-store itself.
A quick browse helped bring it to my attention to this super cute Queen’s Park tote (R380):

I also want to pop into Foschini to try on this gorgeous black bikini:

I love that they have a nice, big selection of stores as well as product and add new items every day. Go check it out and let me know your thoughts. Now that it’s been brought to my attention, Window Shopper’s fast becoming one of my favourite online destinations.
Love, love
Leigh
P.S. Need a Monday lag? I really enjoyed this blog post on different types of super annoying shop assistants. Personally, the ‘fake bitch’, cling-on and ‘sales robot’ are the types that get me riled up the most…
